About Saint Margaret's: Rector's Welcome

On behalf of God’s people at St. Margaret’s
, I greet you in the Name of the Risen Lord, and offer you a warm welcome to this special place. I am excited that you have chosen to find out more about us through our webpage, and I hope and pray that your experience here will lead to a visit from you in person. This is a truly special parish, and I believe that if you come and worship with us, you will feel the real and transforming power of Jesus Christ in your life.

We take seriously our call as Christians to seek and serve Christ in all others, loving our neighbors as ourselves. At St. Margaret’s, you will be welcomed and loved the moment you step into God’s Church. Be it with a welcome from an usher, and handshake from our greeters, or by the presence of the Holy Spirit, you will feel the welcoming power of Christ as you walk though our beautiful building.

There is much to do and much to see as you explore this faithful community. On Sunday mornings, we are faithfully at worship together, in Sunday School together, eating together, and actively engaged in all sorts of ministry together. Choirs are rehearsing, children are scurrying about, and at first it may seem a bit overwhelming. While we have many young families in this parish, we have a diverse group of people from all walks and stages in life. All are welcome here. We hope that your experience at St. Margaret’s will lead you to become a part of our church family.

Please feel free to contact me at anytime. It would be my pleasure to answer any questions that you might have about St. Margaret’s or about the life of this parish.

May the Peace of the Lord be always with you!
