Christian Education: Children
The education of the children of St. Margaret’s is just as important as the education of our adults. On Sunday mornings, the children are taught age appropriate lessons
about Jesus and His love for them. Always focusing on Jesus, and based in sound biblical principles, children learn about God, hear the major stories of the Bible, and actively participate in learning about the wonderful things Jesus has done for them. The teachers of these classes are all volunteers from within the parish, and they are passionate about children and about teaching them the Good News of Jesus.

Even if you come to worship for the first time at St. Margaret’s in the middle of the academic year, your children will be welcomed in Sunday school and will be able to come right in and participate.
First Communion Classes
First Communion classes are periodically offered at St. Margaret’s in order for young people and their parents to more fully comprehend the wonderful gift that Jesus gives us in the Holy Eucharist. While baptism is the only requirement to receive the Blessed Sacrament, this class offers a safe, relaxed atmosphere in which children can come and learn more fully about the Eucharist and have their questions answered by a priest. Taught by the rector, this class is a wonderful opportunity to introduce young children to the Eucharist, its meaning for them, and its importance in their day to day lives.
If you would like to know more about this class, or about the next scheduled offering, please call the church office and ask to speak with Father Todd+.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of the bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42
