Christian Education: Adults
Our parish offers a number of educational opportunities for the adults of the parish, all varying in content and focus, in order to meet the growing needs of a diverse congregation. On any given Sunday morning, one will normally find three classes for adults; all biblically based, and all designed to empower the laity of the church to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. There are also several evening courses offered throughout the academic year which focus on specific areas of pastoral needs which arise from within the parish. Future offerings include classes on Holy Matrimony, Christian parenting skills, end of life issues, and financial planning. All courses give sound practical skills for living that are based in Holy Scripture. These courses are designed to give the people of God the tools they need to live new, transformed lives which are based on the Word of God.
St. Margaret’s 101
This course is a 5 week class designed to introduce new members to the Episcopal Church, St. Margaret’s, and the basic practices of the Book of Common Prayer. Led by volunteers of the parish, the class is ideal for those who are new to the Episcopal Church, and want to learn the basics of our parish and our worship in a relaxed, entertaining atmosphere.

Rector’s Forum
The Rector’s Forum meets on the first Sunday of each month, and covers a wide range of topics that affect the life of the parish. Led by Father Todd+, all adults education classes come together for the Rector’s Forum. The class is held in the Parish Hall, and often includes time for all in attendance to ask questions about St, Margaret’s, the Episcopal Church, or major issues in the world.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of the bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42
